Option 1 – Soft Washing
Using a combination of products to attack the moss, lichen and build-up of pollutants on the tile. Along with super-heated water at a low pressure the soft washing method can produce instant results without any risk or damage to the roof.
A safe biocide would be applied once the tiles are cleaned to suppress the organic regrowth. This roof cleaning method is particularly popular for more modern properties with a robust tile.
Option 2 – Airpole
We use a combination of compressed air and specially designed tools to carefully remove the moss & lichen from the tiles.
The final stage of the process is to kill the moss roots and lichen with an industry leading Biocide. This continues to work over a number of weeks and helps bring the roof back to its original colour.
This option works particularly well with period properties (clay Kent pegs), and will expose which tiles need replacing, without causing any further damage.
Option 3 – Light Pressure Roof Wand
This roof cleaning method uses water to remove moss and lichen from the tiles leaving the roof looking brand new. The system uses two turbo nozzles which are controlled by our roof cleaning operative from the ground.
Once the roof has been cleaned Biocide can then be applied to help prevent future moss and lichen regrowth.
